Summary
Canadian National Exhibition
The exhibition held by the Industrial Exhibition Association of Toronto beginning in 1879 proved so successful that the annual event soon gained national stature. During its long history, the CNE has provided a showcase for Canadian agriculture and industry, arts groups and sporting events.
